I began the 12 week course, having recently moved into the area. I used to attend a Pilates class in East Kent, where we lived previously, but not since before Covid. Therefore I was a little apprehensive about starting somewhere new. However, I was worrying unnecessarily. Simon’s classes were all I’d hoped for and more. Already I can feel a huge improvement in my core and balance, which is so helpful in everyday life, particularly as I suffer from osteoarthritis. So if you have any reservations about signing up, please don’t. Pilates is life changing, in terms of mobility and you’ll get to meet a friendly group of people too. I couldn’t recommend these classes enough!

Wonderful taster session. Simon was very informative before the session started and my daughter and I felt very relaxed. My daughter suffers with back pain so was wondering if this class would help her . She said she hadn't been that relaxed (whilst doing a workout) in a very long time. The other people in the class were friendly and chatty afterwards. Lovely atmosphere and would definitely recommend to anyone who would like to give pilates a go for health reasons it mental health.

I really enjoyed my taster session with Simon! I opted for the beginner’s class and was made immediately welcome by both Simon and the other people in the class. Instructions were easy to follow and I managed to keep up, but still felt like I’d pushed myself by the end. There are more challenging options or easier options for most of the moves which makes it a great class for brand new to ‘I’ve tried it a few times…’ beginners.

A great introduction to the world of ‘gentle’ Pilates. Simon has great knowledge and his lessons are always pitched at the right level for a beginner. Trouble with my lower back had diminished markedly and I would thoroughly recommend his classes to anyone who has thought about starting their journey towards a more pain free life.

As I am ageing I struggle with my posture and a lack of flexibility of my upper body. I was a bit apprehensive to attend my first tester session but soon realised that my fears were unfounded as the class was friendly. The teacher demonstrated the moves and made sure we were doing the exercises correctly and to the best of our ability. My very first impression after this session tester was that I felt "Taller"!!! . For some reason I am now more conscious of my posture. I have the intention of keeping up with Pilates as it made me feel good (and that was on the very 1st session) !

With an ongoing lower back problem I was somewhat hesitant about taking up pilates. However, my first session with Simon was far less painful than I anticipated. He gave me a warm welcome, followed by a mat and other essential items for pilates. There was clearly no going back The session was gentle and I was able to stretch and wobble ( as opposed to controlled rolls and perfect balancing) at my own pace. I did feel stretched both physically and mentally, but overall the experience was positive and I'm going to sign up for one of the packages available and give this pilates thing a bit of a go as today, the morning after, I'm actually feeling OK. Thankyou Simon

Simon is great at supporting new members to Pilates. I've got a mobility and connective tissue condition and have already noticed a difference in my posture in 2undertaking twice per week I'm now in my 3rd week. I'm still working on my core strength so be great for anyone who wants to improve wellbeing or fitness. The only down side is the cost £177 for 3months being able to attend twice per wk over 12 wks. Lots of classes covering Rainham /Gillingham area.

Having had back pain for quite a few years I was referred to the nhs who suggested Pilates, I found Simon online and booked a taster lesson. I was very nervous going on my own but once there was put at ease and Simon explained everything clearly, I am so glad I went now , nothing to be worried about at all, lovely people there and I feel better even after one lesson.

Before attending the taster session I was concerned about my fitness and how much of a "beginner class" this would be. It was two years since my last Pilates class. I felt I need to get fitter again, stretching my joints and muscles. As ever, I was concerned that everyone else at the class would be able to follow the exercises and I would struggle. However, I found out that it was a beginner's class, everyone was very friendly, the atmosphere was relaxed and Simon explained every exercise in detail, especially the breathing technic. I felt at ease and able to try (and mostly succeed) all the exercises. I will definitely sign up to go every week. I would say to anyone thinking of joining - definitely give it a go!
